Do you offer a free, no obligation quotation?
Of course! We are more than happy to visit your property at a time convenient for yourself and quote for the required works.
Can you source all required materials and project manage our required works?
Yes! The vast majority of our jobs include us sourcing all materials, handling all tradesman and ensuring the project is completed to the highest standard. During some of our previous jobs, clients have tried to manage multiple tradesman and source all of their own materials in order to save some money, however this has always proved to be more costful and usually causes a great deal of stress. Our prices always include project managing and the sourcing of all materials to ensure that you have an enjoyable experience working with us from start to finish.
How are payments handled and dealt with?
Full payment is never required upfront. In our opinion all respectable building companies will not require the full balance upfront. Instead, a detailed contract will be drawn up which will state set milestones customised to your project detailing when payments are due at different work intervals. The final payment will be required only once all works are completed. For smaller projects payment will not be due until all works are complete to ensure you are fully satisfied.
Can you guide us through the design and work process of larger works?
We sure can! On larger projects, prior to any work taking place we will provide you with an 'order of works' sheet detailing the order of all works that will be taking place with time frames attached. We can also have our architect draw up your plans whilst offering advice and suggestions on designs to match your budget.
How long are quotations valid for?
Usually our quotes are valid for six months unless otherwise stated. If you require a longer price guarantee, please speak to us and we are more than happy to assist.
Can we still live in our house whilst our new extension is being built?
On some occasions our clients have chose to move out during the dusty period of works involved with building an extension, however it is not a must and is perfectly fine to continue living at home throughout the entire work process. We always aim to make the whole experience as pleasant as possible and can even create a temporary kitchen until your new kitchen extension is ready. Please bear in mind that if there is no rear access to your property then we will have to bring everything through the house. If this is the case then all floor surfaces providing access will be fully protected.
Are you properly insured?
Here at Stately Home Developments Ltd we have a £2,000,000 Public Liability insurance. So in the unlikely event of an accident or incidental damage, you, your family and your property will be fully covered.
How long does it take to do a garden makeover and can you help design?
Absolutely! We have a team of highly skilled landscapers who can assist with providing different concepts and layout options until we capture your dream garden design. Prior to any works taking place we will provide a break down of the job, showing a detailed time frame with each phase of work. It’s also perfectly possible to landscape a single section of your garden at a time in order to match your budget or requirements.
